HoltNow expands with new News and community platforms
HoltNow has expanded beyond its What’s On calendar with the launch of Holt News, Holt Voices and One Question — bringing local events, news and community conversation together in one place.
Holt Now
HoltNow has expanded its local What’s On platform with the introduction of three new sections designed to make it easier to keep up with life in Holt.
Alongside the existing events calendar, the platform now includes Holt News, Holt Voices and One Question.
Holt News provides a dedicated place for local news, announcements and updates. Businesses, community organisations, charities, schools, public services and residents can submit stories for consideration, together with supporting information and photographs where appropriate.
Every news submission is reviewed before publication.
Holt Voices provides a separate moderated space for ideas, questions and constructive discussion about the town. Unlike an open social-media forum, contributions and responses do not appear automatically and are reviewed before publication.
The platform has also introduced One Question, which periodically asks people connected with Holt a single question about the town and its future.
The first question asks:
What is the one thing Holt needs most over the next two years to remain a thriving town?
Responses can be submitted through Holt Voices and will remain open until 30 September.
The expansion is intended to give Holt one straightforward digital place for three different kinds of information: what is happening, what is changing and what people are saying.
HoltNow remains locally focused and free to access.
News, events and contributions can all be submitted through HoltNow.digital.
